March 29, 2007 - Submitted Application
March 29, 2007 - Ordered Birth & Marriage Certs
March 30, 2007 - sent our three reference letter requests
April 3, 2007 - Received Alex’s Birth Certificates
April 4, 2007 - Application Approved!
April 5, 2007 - Started Paper Chase and bought adorable first outfit (it’s pink!)
April 6, 2007 - Received our Marriage Certs. from FL and Eileen’s Birth Certs. from TX
April - Sent in agency fee
April - Recieved Dossier Guide
April - Sent in Homestudy fee
April - Attended conference call with CCAI founder - what a great agency!
April - Started Autobiography
April - Contracted with Pam Eidson to help us with our Dossier
April 20th - Requested Letters of employment from our companies
May - Autobiography Completed
May - Additional autobiography completed and sent to our Social Worker Vicki
May - CCAA Adoption Petition notarized and sent to Pam for Authentification
May - Sent out three more reference letter requests to comply with FL requirements
May- Both Letters of employment back from their respective consulates
May - Compiled Financial Statement, notarized, sent to Pam for Authentification
June - Requested proof of insurablility for our daughter from our Health Insurance
June - Sent off I600A to Dept. of Homeland Security
June - Scheduled Homestudy with Vicki - Hooray! July 23rd & 24th
June - Obtained local police clearance
June - Made Medical Exam appointments
July 16th - Medical Exams
July 23rd & 24th - Homestudy - all went well!
July 28th - Biometrics appointment
July 31st - second blood draw to complete medical exam (due to lab error!)
August 13th - third blood draw to complete medical exam (due to another error!)
August 14th - received final draft of homestudy - sent through updates and final changes
August 16th - Medical reports finally done!
August 17th- Homestudy complete!
September 25th - gathered family photos
September 25th - We have our I-171h!
September 28th Passport Photos and Family Life Photos mailed
October 10th - Passed Critical Review!
October 17th - Translation Completed!
October 18th - DTC (Dossier To China) Hooray!
October 23, 2007 - LID (Log in Date)
